摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for measuring the distance of the interior and/or surface of the eye. <P>SOLUTION: The method and device for determining distance from a measuring point on a tissue surface of the eye, wherein, an optical pulse is generated using a pulse light source, directed to the measuring point of the eye, and a reflected optical pulse reflected on the tissue surface at the measuring point is captured and detected by an optical sensor, whereby a follow-up optical pulse is generated from the pulse light source, and the pulse light source further generates a follow-up optical pulse according to the detection of the reflected optical pulse caused by the preceding follow-up optical pulse. Thus, oscillation is caused by a frequency F1, and the frequency F1 is measured to obtain a length X of an optical path extending from the pulse light source through the measuring point to the optical sensor by a measurement value F1 and a specific rate C of light transmitted through a medium along the optical path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
