PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin radiation detection device light in weight, its manufacturing method, and a radiation detection system. SOLUTION: The radiation detection device comprises a sensor panel 101 having a photoelectric conversion section 106, a wavelength conversion body 102 that is arranged on the sensor panel 101 and converts radiation into first light sensible by the photoelectric conversion section 106, an illumination section 103 that is arranged at a position facing the wavelength conversion body 102 with the sensor panel 101 sandwiched between them and radiates second light to the photoelectric conversion section, and a wavelength selectivity diffusion layer 104 that is arranged between the sensor panel 101 and the illumination section 103, absorbs the first light, and diffuses the second light.
