<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter for improving control stability. <P>SOLUTION: The voltage converter is disposed between a DC power supply B and a motor M1, implements voltage conversion, and is provided with a voltage sensor 10 and a current sensor 11 for sensing power transmitted between the DC power supply B, a voltage boosting converter 12 disposed on a path for coupling a power supply line PL1 connected to the DC power supply B and a power supply line PL2 connected to the motor M1 and including a power control element, and a controller 30 for controlling the voltage boosting converter 12. The controller 30 monitors a change in regenerative power to the DC power supply B in response to outputs from the voltage sensor 10 and the current sensor 11, and switches an operation of the voltage boosting converter 12 from a fast operation to a slow operation if the change in the regenerative power is larger than a predetermined quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
