<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downloading method capable of changing the color of letters at the optimum position, and speed even in a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When there is the obtaining demand of musical data from the portable terminal, the downloading device refers a data base according to a model and transmits the kind of portable terminal, from which the obtaining is demanded, letter data coping with the musical data, the positional information of respective letter data and an indication information comprising a color changing speed to the portable terminal. The control unit of the portable terminal changes the transmitted letter data into image data. Then, the image data based on the converted letter data are indicated in the indicating unit by the control unit in accordance with the transmitted positional information in accordance with the reproduction of the musical data.
