PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prior confirmation of the meteorological information of places anywhere, for which a vehicle head by displaying the information on a map screen of own on-board apparatus in different modes, according to the degree in each area in a navigation technique. SOLUTION: An acquisition portion (acquisition means) 24 acquires weather data, representing the degree(s) of one or more meteorological phenomena (extent of rainfall, snowfall, snow cover, etc., extent of pollen scattering, temperature, humidity, extent of mist or fog, the intensities and the extent of the occurrence probabilities of earthquakes and tidal waves in their occurrence or forecast, etc.) from a communication portion 17 (acquisition processing). An extent display portion (extent display means) 25 displays the meteorological weather phenomena represented by the weather data, in different modes, according to their extents on a map of a display portion 18, concerning at least the direction of the vehicle or direction of the vehicle's heading place, based on a guide route (extent display processing).
