PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such electrode structure as of uniform distance between counter electrodes of a chip-type positive characteristic thermistor capable of suppressing disturbance of electric field distribution in a magnetic device while preventing shorting of the electrode. SOLUTION: The electrodes of a chip-type positive characteristics thermistor element are provided on two surfaces facing each other with the electrode formed of three layers. A nickel layer of ohmic contact is formed on a counter end face as a first layer. A silver layer which covers the nickel layer surface is formed as a second layer. A solder layer which covers the silver layer surface is formed as a third layer. An insulating layer is formed between facing electrodes using an insulating material of ceramics, glass, or resin, to cover the thermistor element. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
