PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor enabling a reduction in the vibration of a suction pipe and an accumulator even if a motor is vibrated. SOLUTION: A hermetic container 1 is welded to a compression element 2 at six weld points 8. The suction pipe 11 sucking a refrigerant gas is connected to the hermetic container 1. The first direction D<SB>1</SB>and the second direction D<SB>2</SB>of the suction pipe 11 in the natural frequency mode are not aligned with the direction connecting any two points of the weld points 8 to each other. Consequently, even if the vibration of the motor is propagated to the compression element 2, the vibration of the suction pipe 11 can be reduced by the arrangement of the weld points 8.
