PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently arrange selective transistors in a pixel in a shape of a two-by-two square matrix. SOLUTION: One pixel comprises four display dots (four colors) in the two-by-two square matrix. A gate line GL is arranged so as to pass a row-directional intermediate part of the one pixel, and gates of switching transistors SW of the four display dots are connected to the gate line GL.
