PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to continuously accurately grasp a storing level of grains in a grain storing tank in stages. SOLUTION: In a storing amount detection means for detecting the storing level of the grains stored in the grain storing tank 1 by change of an electrostatic capacity between a pair of mutually opposite electrodes 2 at a proper distance, the device for detecting a grain storing amount forms the pair of the electrodes 2 by having proper area parts in the substantial same shape respectively, and arranging and holding mutually opposite surface electrodes 3 on an electrode holding members 4 at a proper interval in the form of a plurality of individual pieces, arranging conductors 5 connected between the surface electrodes 3 along the electrode holding member 4, makes the conductors 5 shield electric wires or a shield structure, and applies moisture-proof and water-proof treatment on each covering end of the conductors 5 by making the shield electric wires or the shield structure.
