PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making buckle device which can be appropriately used by a weak aged person or woman for example as an operation of unlocking a buckle for locking members in a coupled condition can be more easily and smoothly done than conventional ones, and which can be inexpensively provided. SOLUTION: The buckle device locks a first member 1 and a second member 2 in the coupled condition by rotating the buckle 3 rotatably provided on the first member 1 to lock with the second member 2. The buckle 3 is equipped with a pivoting part 4 pivoting on the first member 1 at one end and a buckle-side lock 5 for locking with a lock 6 provided on the second member 2 at the other end. The buckle 3 is equipped with a press-to-work part 7, and the buckle device is constituted such that deflective deformation of the buckle 3 when the part 7 is pressed causes the buckle-side lock 5 of the buckle 3 to deflectively deform and move in the direction of locking and unlocking from the lock 6 of the second member 2.
