PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve shortage of the strength to the lateral load remaining in a vehicle body of the normal design, and ensure passengers' safety in case of an emergency. SOLUTION: One side or both sides among the partial parts 11, 12 between an underframe part 1 across the corner part 4 of a body part 5 and the side body structure parts 2, 2 or the predetermined area 33 from the partial parts 11, 12 to the corner part 4, and the partial parts 14, 15 between the side body structure parts 2, 2 and a roof body structure part 3, or the predetermined area 16 from the partial parts 14, 15 to the corner part 4 are connected with connecting members 17 as at least essential members at the plurality of positions in the middle of the longitudinal direction in the body part 5.
