FURROW FORMING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furrow forming method, by which the arrangement of a furrow and the supply of seeds or plant runners to the furrow are achieved to prevent the growth of weeds except the supplied seeds or the plant runners and simultaneously develop the roots of the supplied seeds or the plant runners down to the deep positions of the ground in a high density with the growth of the supplied seeds or the plant runners to protect a slope and save coming furrow maintenance works; and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: Seeds or plant runners are supplied and coated on the surface of a furrow top or side portion of a furrow arranged with a furrow-arranging member together with piled up soil between a preliminarily treating member for rotating the preliminarily treating member having tilling tines to pile up the soil of an original furrow and soil near to the original furrow toward the top portion of the original furrow and the furrow-arranging member placed behind the preliminarily treating member and forming a furrow from the tilled and piled soil.
