PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of burrs in machining a workpiece by means of fixing agent and easily eliminate fixing agent from the workpiece after machining. SOLUTION: Fixing agent that melts or hardens depending on temperature is heated to melt, and the melted fixing agent 30 is attached to a burr occurrence part of the workpiece 10 (side surface 12), where it is hardened to be fixed to the workpiece 10. The burr occurrence part is then machined with the fixing agent 30.
