The device has random access, read only and flash memories (3, 4, 5) for program instructions and parameter values such as application data. A part of the instructions defines a process, which accesses to the values, to define and transmit control information to a machine. Another part of the instructions defines another process, which evaluates the quality of the data. The latter process checks the acceptance of physical parameters that are specified by the data and permits the execution of the former process under utilization of the data, when the value is found for acceptance.
