<p>A multi-helical extruder has a gearbox with first and second shafts. The first shaft has a power output section (1) a first power transmission section (4) and a first power output section (2). The second shaft section has a second power transmission section (5) and a second power output section. The power output sections (2, 3) are parallel and the power transmission sections (4, 5) subtend an angle to each other. The two power transmission sections are linked by a pinion gear. The first group (1, 2, 4) of transmission components is formed by a single shaft. The second power output section (3) is formed by a shaft with a straight section and an angled section. The shafts are joined (7) by a conical pinion gear arrangement.</p> |
