PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly change a speed change shift of a transmission, and to restrain excessive rotation of an electric motor in a system having the electric motor for outputting power to a drive shaft via the transmission.

SOLUTION: When a request for Hi-Lo speed change is made (S230 and S240), speed change processing for changing speed change shifts of the transmission 60 (S260) is carried out after confirming that the request for Hi-Lo speed change continues for a designated period (S250). Thus, it is avoided that the shift of the transmission 60 is changed by executing the Hi-Lo speed change though an actual speed V is greater than a Hi-Lo speed change line Vlo. Therefore, excessive rotation of the electric motor MG2 caused by executing the Hi-Lo speed change of the transmission 60 though the actual speed V is greater is suppressed, and the speed change shift of the Hi-Lo speed change for the transmission 60 can be executed more suitably.
