<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic information retrieval system for providing good perspective for entire information to be retrieved, displaying information specified by a user in a retrieval process, and allowing a user to read detailed information of a retrieval target required by the user at any level by list-displaying a data structure of the information to be retrieved. <P>SOLUTION: An information terminal 11 (1-n), which can be arbitrarily arranged, may reflect a certain structure of an information space. This structure may be physical or logical. In the physical structure, an image indicative of a shape of its physical existence can be additionally displayed. When any of the information terminals is pointed, the entity information on the corresponding information terminal is displayed on an entity information display screen. In the entity information display screen, a button for returning to a previous screen and a button for proceeding to the next retrieval screen are provided.
