FIBER CEMENT AND PLASTER LAMINATED COMPOSITE BUILDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board for buildings having surface damage resistance, superior in impact resistance and having a panel thickness of 5/8 inches, and further rated at a rating of a fire resistive period of one hour when the board is secured to two sides of a wall frame without a heat insulating member in a cavity.

SOLUTION: A building material 40 comprises a fiber cement sheet 10 made in advance, a plaster panel 20 and an adhesive layer 30 not completely integrated with the cement sheet made in advance. The adhesive layer is inserted between the cement sheet and the plaster panel, and the cement sheet is laminated on the plaster panel with the adhesive layer for forming an integrated laminated composite material having at least a rating of a fire resistive period of one hour according to ASTM E119-98.
