<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wafer-type direct acting valve without forming a flange to a valve casing of a direct acting valve which has piping by sandwiching the valve casing with pipe flanges and fastening the pipe flanges by bolts and nuts. <P>SOLUTION: The direct acting valve comprises a drive part 1 operating by sensing a primary side pressure or a secondary side pressure, and a valve element 3 coupled to the drive part 1 for opening/closing a fluid passage 2. The valve casing 4 of the valve is sandwiched between the pipe flanges F, F1 fastened by bolts B, B1... and nuts N, N1.... Connecting ends 10, 11 of the pipe flanges F, F1 having inlet/outlet ports 6, 7, respectively, are made flangeless. A cover flange neck 17 extended upward from the valve casing 4 is formed to bridge across the pipe flanges F, F1 and formed insertable between the bolts B, B1 abutting each other on the circumference of the pipe flanges F, F1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
