PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus applying more oscillation to a toner recovery tank than in a conventional apparatus along with extracting and inserting actions of a paper supplying cassette. SOLUTION: A plurality of projections 12a to 12d are provided to a paper supplying cassette 1 storing the paper which is installed to be extracted from and inserted to a printer X. Also, a rib 21 which is a contact part for the projections 12a to 12d in the toner recovery tank 2 where a waste toner after being used in an image forming part forming an image on the paper supplied from the paper supplying cassette 1 using the toner is deposited by dropping by its own weight is installed in the vicinity of an end part on an entrance side for extracting and inserting of the paper supplying cassette 1. Thus, a wide region can be secured in which the paper supplying cassette 1 can be brought into contact with the toner recovery tank 2 when extracting and inserting the paper supplying cassette 1.
