PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel whose back light source is put off automatically, and to provide a means therefor. SOLUTION: The present invention is referred to a kind of liquid crystal panel whose back light source is put off automatically, and its means. When a kind of image voice signal does not exist, the back light source of the liquid crystal panel is put off. The means comprises procedures mentioned below: (A) One signal source is selected as the working signal source of the liquid crystal panel. (B) Whether an image voice signal exists or not in the working signal source is judged. (C) When the non-existence of the image voice signal is judged by the procedure (B), it is judged whether the input of command exists or not. (D) When the non-existence of the input of command is judged through the procedure (C), a time is judged whether a set time is exceeded or not when the image voice signal does not exist. (E) When a time in which the image voice signal does not exist does not exceed a set time through the procedure (D), the back light source of the liquid crystal panel is put off.
