PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the biosensor of a quartz oscillator having a reduced dispersion of an equivalent constance in the quartz oscillator, a low individual difference in an electric characteristic, the satisfactory balance of the quartz oscillator, and the excellent electric characteristic, and an examination method using the same. SOLUTION: This biosensor 10 is provided with a rectangular printed circuit board 7, a copper foil 6 mounted on a surface of the printed circuit board 7, a quartz blank 1 of the quartz oscillator sandwiched between a reverse face electrode 3 and a surface electrode 2 provided on the copper foil 6, a silver paste 4 for fixing two lateral portions of the reverse face electrode 3 and the surface electrode 2, a silicon for coating the whole excepting the quartz blank 1 and the surface electrode 2, and lead wires 8, 8 connected to the respective electrodes.
