PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration cycle capable of efficiently performing heat exchange while using a non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant containing a carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: The refrigeration cycle includes a compressor 1, a refrigerant cooler 2, a pressure reducing means 4, and an evaporator 5. As the refrigerant, the non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant containing a main refrigerant component of the carbon dioxide and a sub-refrigerant component higher in boiling point than the main component is used. A refrigerant extraction means 7 for extracting a refrigerant component containing the main refrigerant component much from the refrigerant cooled by the cooler and an intermediate heat exchanger 3 for cooling the extracted refrigerant component extracted by the extraction means 7 are provided between the cooler 2 and the decompression means 4.
