PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank capable of reducing a space required for installation without deteriorating its heat insulating property. SOLUTION: In the hot water storage tank 21, a second heat insulating part 42 is formed to be smaller in thickness than a first heat insulating part 41, whereby the outer dimension of a heat insulator 40 can be reduced to save the space required for installation. Since the heat insulating property of the hot water storage tank 21 is not deteriorated even if the second heat insulating member 42 is formed to be thinner than the first heat insulating part 41, the hot water storage tank 21 has the advantage of not deteriorating its heat retaining property.
