PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a movement space of wiring for supplying electric power to a movable body such as an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus and eliminate a possibility of breaking the wiring. SOLUTION: The driving device and the air conditioner includes the ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 300, a conductive driving belt 240 for transmitting a driving force and electric power to the ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 300, a conductive rotation member 250 for driving the driving belt 240 and an electrode 260 for supplying the electric power to the rotation member 250. As the electric power can be directly supplied to the ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 300 from the electrode 260 and the rotation member 250 via the driving belt 240, a driving mechanism can be constituted easily by the driving belt 240 even in the case that the moving trajectory of the ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 300 is curved.
