PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimum Faraday shield shape by precisely obtaining an electric field generated near a loop gap resonator by a numerical analysis. SOLUTION: The Faraday shield includes a metallic lattice having a shape corresponding to electric line of force in an area with the congestion of the electric lines of force which are determined by performing the numerical analysis of an electric field distribution inside/outside the resonator and calculating the electric field along the circular arc of the resonator. The electric field along the circular arc of the loop gap resonator is extracted and made into a graph, based on the extraction value, by adopting the length of the circular arc as a horizontal axis and the strength of the electric field as a vertical axis. Then, an electric field strength approximate curve along the circular arc is drawn. A horizontal line is drawn in the graph by performing equal division by the number (n) of the electric force lines to draw a reference electric field with the highest strength of the electric field in a gap part as reference. Then, the length of the circular arc obtained by the intersection of the horizontal line and the electric field strength approximate curve is defined as the interval of the electric force lines, so that the area with the congestion of the electric force lines is determined.
