PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized vehicle braking system capable of simplifying the control to generate a braking force. SOLUTION: The vehicle braking system is composed of a braking operating member operated by a driver, a braking operation amount sensing part to sense the braking operation amount of the braking operating member, a requisite braking force calculation processing means to calculate the requisite braking force in such a manner as corresponding to the braking operation amount, a maximum regenerative braking force calculation processing means to calculate the maximum regenerative braking force which represents the maximum value of the regenerative braking force, a requisite toe angle calculation processing means to calculate the toe angle required to brake the vehicle on the basis of the requisite braking force and the maximum regenerative braking force, and a steering control processing means to incline the wheels at the toe angle.
