PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a plastic molded body having an embossed pattern on its surface. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the plastic molded body having the embossed pattern on its surface comprises a preheating process (A) for heating a laminated material 30 formed by superposing an embossed sheet 1, which comprises a thermoplastic material, has not only an embossed pattern surface 11 on its surface but also a pattern layer 12 on its back surface, and a mold release film 3, to a predetermined temperature, a setting process (B) for installing the preheated laminated material 30 at the place of a recessed mold 91 having a vacuum drawing means 99 in a hermetically closed state, a vacuum molding process (C) for performing vacuum drawing from the side of the recessed mold 91 to mold the laminated material 30, an injection molding process (D) for injecting the thermoplastic material toward the back side of the embossed sheet 1 forming the laminated material 30 and a mold release film removing process (E) for opening both molds 91 and 92 to take out a molded processed product 5 and peeling a mold release film 3 present on the surface side of the taken-out molded processed product 5.
