PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active oxygen reducing apparatus which does not reduce active oxygen by using an indirectly supplied substance such as conventional supplements and suction of negative ions, but directly reduces the active oxygen by directly injecting electrons into a living body. SOLUTION: The active oxygen reducing apparatus is provided with a grounding electrode 2 brought into contact with the living body, a treatment electrode 1a arranged facing the living body, and a voltage applying part 4 for applying a treatment voltage which is a relatively positive voltage to the grounding potential of the grounding electrode. The voltage applying part applies the treatment voltage to the treatment electrode, negative charges corresponding to the treatment voltage are stored inside the living body by electrostatic induction, and the active oxygen inside the living body is reduced by the negative charges.
