The device has a larger program memory and a memory space for securing efficient operation with normal function range. The memory space stands in connection with data technique with the smart card reading device (5) and the microcontroller. The part of new program and additional program necessary for an extended functional range on a smart card is discarded and transferred over the smart card reading device into the program memory.
