A security method using a sensor and an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) executing the method are provided to exactly detect the state change of the ATM by diversifying the state change of the ATM, and to let managers quickly cope with a financial accident by immediately informing the state change of the ATM through an alarm unit. An ATM(202) with a security function is composed of a sensor(301) for detecting the state change generated by external operations, wherein the state change of the ATM includes at least one of opening of a door, impact, and inclination; a sensing information generating unit(302) for generating sensing information according to the detection result of the sensor; and an alarm unit(303) for alarming the external operations according to the sensing information. |
