<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately switch a first mode for cutting out part of a captured video image and a second mode for generating an interpolated video image on the basis of a plurality of cut-out video images in accordance with control information transmitted from a viewer apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A video distribution apparatus includes a video capturing means, a video processing means, a distribution means and a mode switching means.
