摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency and adequacy in a customer service for guiding a waiting customer to a vacant seat. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a handy terminal 102 and a seat management device 105 accessible to a seat information file managing the acceptable customer condition and occupied/vacant state of each seat and a seat reservation file managing the priority and condition of each waiting customer. The handy terminal 102 inputs and radio-transmits occupied/vacant state information of each individual seat to the seat management device. The management device 105 acquires, when an available seat is recognized from the received state information, the acceptable customer condition of this seat from the seat information file, acquires a customer with the highest priority to satisfying the acquired condition from the seat reservation file, and generates and transmits guide information having association of the vacant seat with the acquired customer to the handy terminal 102.
