PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector and a screen for the projector in which installation position can be adjusted such that the screen surface becomes perpendicular to the optical axis in the center of the screen by an extremely simple technique. SOLUTION: The screen 70 attaching reflectors 72 and 73 is installed in the center of the upper or lower end frame of the screen or in the center of the upper and lower end frames of the screen. A test pattern including a vertical line of high brightness is projected to the center of an image from a projector 10, the vertical line 77 of the test pattern is applied to the reflector 72 and reflected thereon by regulating optical zoom or optical shift, and the light 75 reflected from the reflector onto the floor is aligned with the projection line in the vertical direction of the projection optical axis 27.
