PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclic communication system capable of controlling the transmission period of a cyclic data at an optimum period by monitoring a system scale and the working condition of a communication band at a real time. SOLUTION: Each node has cyclic control-data writing regions corresponding to each of a plurality of identifiable identifiers. Each node is constituted so as to transmit cyclic control data in cyclic control-data transmission regions corresponding to their own node identifiers to all other nodes for a controlled cyclic transmission period together with the cyclic data, and all cyclic control data transmitted from each node are received by all other nodes. These each other node is constituted so as to duplicate received cyclic control data in other cyclic control-data transmission regions corresponding to the identifiers separate from their own node identifiers respectively, and to return the duplicated control data to the transmitting nodes.
