PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens hood which can be mounted on a super wide-angle lens and a super wide-angle zoom lens without affecting a photographed image in strobe photography, and a camera system equipped with the lens hood. SOLUTION: The lens hood comprises a fitting part 105 for fitting to a lens barrel 4 of a camera 1 equipped with a light emission part 20 for photography, first light shield parts 101, 102, and 103 which extend from the fitting part 105 in the direction opposite to the lens barrel 4, and a second light shield part 110 which extends from the fitting part 105 in the direction opposite to the lens barrel 4, makes light from the light emission part 20 for photography pass through, and prevents unnecessary light from entering the lens barrel 4, and the second light shield part 110 can be disposed on the side of the light emission part 20 for photography.
