摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb vibration of different frequencies generated by a building to reduce sound by preparing a plurality of dynamic dampers of the same specification and data and mounting brackets with different spring constants. SOLUTION: This vibration control device 1 for a building is composed of the dynamic damper 10 mounted to a column, a beam or a joist of the building and composed of a rubber part 30 having elastic bodies, and a mass part 20 having a mass body; and the mounting bracket 40 for mounting the dynamic damper to the building. The rubber elastic bodies 32 of the rubber part are formed so that the value of tanδof the characteristic is within a range of 0.01-0.7. The natural frequency f1 of the dynamic damper coincides with the first resonance frequency F1 of the building, and the natural frequency f2 of the vibration control device for the building composed of the dynamic damper and the mounting bracket coincides with the second resonance frequency F2 of the building.
