PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is substantially colorless when an adhesive is transferred to an object to be transferred, develops color in a short time when pressure is applied as an external stimulation, and is decolored with time, and to provide a microcapsule-containing composition used for the tape and a coating film-transfer tool with the tape mounted thereon. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a substrate and an intermediate layer on the substrate, the intermediate layer having adhesive layers on both sides thereof. The intermediate layer comprises a polymer layer containing microcapsules encapsulating a substance (coloring material) effective to further develop the color of a color material which is obtained by reacting a leuco dye with a developer to develop its color. At least the substrate side layer of the adhesive layers is an adhesive layer which contains a color material which is obtained by reacting a leuco dye with a developer and is slightly colored. There are also provided a microcapsule-containing composition used for the tape and a coating film-transfer tool with the tape mounted thereon. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
