PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely attract a recording medium to a conveying carrier (conveying belt) even if the moisture content of the recording medium changes and even if the rigidity (paper stiffness) of the recording medium changes in the case of single side recording and in the case of double side recording. SOLUTION: The recording paper conveying device has a recording means for recording images on the recording medium, the conveying carrier for conveying the recording medium and an electrostatic attractive power generating means arranged in the inner peripheral surface of the conveying carrier and formed by alternately arranging comb electrodes having different polarities.
