PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vase for a tombstone, which has a simple and easy-to-handle structure, and maintains flowers offered to the tombstone in a fresh state for a long time. SOLUTION: In the vase for a tombstone, water 6a in an inner cylinder 4, which has increased its density with the lapse of time, flows via through holes 4a to an annular space G in an outer cylinder 3, and fresh water 6 in the annular space G is fed via the through holes 4a into the inner cylinder 4. As a result the water 6a in the inner cylinder 4 is mixed with the fresh water 6 from the outer cylinder 3, and performs compensation for evaporation of the water and prevention of progress of rotting, to thereby maintain the flowers 7 in a fresh state for a long time. In this manner when the flowers 7 are offered at the tombstone 2, the freshness of the flowers 7 is maintained only by setting the inner cylinder 4 in the outer cylinder 3, and therefore the structure of the vase should be only simple and easy to handle, which is advantageous in cost.
