The lock (1) has a closing cylinder (2) provided with a mechanical emergency lock (6) which can be actuated by means of a mechanical key (10). The mechanical emergency lock can be used to establish or undo a functional connection especially between the two sections (4,5) of a shaft (3) independent of the electronically controlled closing device. The shaft is included in the electronic closing device. The closing cylinder can be inserted in a door leaf. The two sections of the shaft are provided with holds on both ends, preferably in the form of knobs or handles. The two sections of the shaft can be functionally connected to each other via a coupling once authorization code is inputted into the electronic closing device, especially in a wireless manner e.g. radio.
