A mobile terminal for previously recognizing a key input is provided to shorten times for inputting numbers and characters. A case(110) includes a display panel. A keypad is mounted on the case(110) such that multiple key buttons(131) are exposed. Touch sensors(150) are disposed at a lower side of the key buttons(131) in order to sense a previous contact with the key buttons(131) by a user. A circuit board(140) is electrically connected with the touch sensors(150) within the case(110), processes information sensed by the touch sensors(150), and displays the processed information through the display panel. After the user previously contacts with the key buttons(131), the circuit board(140) recognizes a final input with respect to the key buttons(131) and finally displays it through the display panel. |
