A multifunctional air vent valve for waterworks is provided to discharge sludge or dead water standing in a pipe and to check the state of a pipe by controlling a control cap freely, and to promote the flow of fluid smoothly and to prevent the breaking of a pipe by exhausting air using an air intake and exhaust unit. The multifunctional air vent valve for waterworks comprises a body(10) formed in the U-shape and provided with a flange(11) and a through hole(12), a float valve guide(20) formed on the inside of the body in the U-shape and provided with a valve cushion(21) to prevent the impact and breakage caused by touching with a float ball, a casing(30) formed on one end of the body and provided with a through hole(31) to discharge the air flew in the body to the outside, a valve sheet(32) formed on the bottom of the through hole and a disk(33) to support one end of a guide bar, a float ball(40) and a guide bar(50) formed on the inside of the float valve guide, a cover(60) installed on the upper part of the cover and provided with connecting holes(61) to discharge the air discharged to the through hole of the cover to the outside, a control cap(70) installed on the upper part of the cover to make contact with the guide bar and composed of a movable spindle(71) moving upward and downward, a rotary spindle(72) formed on the upper part of the movable spindle and a fixing member(73) fixing and supporting the rotary spindle and the movable spindle, and an air intake and exhaust unit(80) installed to penetrate one end of the body to exhaust the air flew in the body and to promote the flow of fluid flowing in a water supply pipe smoothly. |
