A cleansing method of a slide for chromosome and a cleansing device are provided to reduce a large amount of waste water generated from a laboratory and a hospital. A cleansing device of a slide for chromosome includes a supplier(1), a slide supporting unit(2), a first filtering device, a water tank, a drain port(103), and a power source. The slide cleansed by cleansing water falling from the supplier is placed on the slide supporting unit. The first filtering unit is installed at the bottom of the slide supporting unit and includes a strong-base anion exchange resin. The water tank is installed at the bottom of the first filtering unit and stores the cleansing water. The drain port is connected to the water tank. The power source circulates the cleansing water from the water tank to the supplier.
