An exhaust hood and a centrifugal fan thereof are provided to increase the suction efficiency and reduce a flow noise by restraining generation of vortex flow formed between a rear wall of a chimney and a centrifugal fan casing. A canopy(110) has an inlet(112) formed at a bottom for sucking in air. A chimney(120) has a reduced flow cross section compared with the canopy, having a bottom connected with a top side of the canopy. A centrifugal fan(130) comprises a casing(131) having inlets(133) at both sides along by the thickness direction and having a discharge port(135) at one side along by the circumferential direction, rotary blades(141) in the casing, and a vortex generator(151) protruded at one side of the external inlet of the casing for forming vortex.
