<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation display panel support mechanism built in a simple configuration but rigid enough to prevent it from shaking at any angle when the user operates; and to provide an image forming device equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The operation display panel 5 is attached to the side frame of an original reader 2 through support member 15. The support member 15 is secured free to turn on the shaft 17 inside the original reader 2. Grooves 19a are formed at the end 19 of the support member 15. An engagement part 20 is disposed inside the reader 2, and the engagement member 21 is energized by a spring 22 and an engagement protrusion 21a is fitted to the grooves 19a. By forcibly turning the operation display panel 5 up and down as desired, the engagement protrusion 21a is disengaged from the grooves 19a and the angle of the display panel 5 can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
