<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that has an output-image quality control function for suppressing an amount of a recording material used while easily and surely acquiring quality control data. <P>SOLUTION: The printer having the output-image quality control function is provided with a pattern storage part 56, which stores evaluation patterns F1, F2 for each quality inspection item, and a pattern output timing storage part 58 for storing output timing of the evaluation patterns F1, F2 for each quality inspection item. The quality control data are surely acquired by determining an arrangement of the evaluation pattern on the recording material while automatically outputting the evaluation pattern, which reaches the output timing, on the basis of information of the pattern output timing storage part 58. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
