<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a look-up table for image processing suited to a user's taste. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has a photographing-time contrast sensitivity estimating means to estimate the contrast sensitivity during photographing an image data by a digital camera, an observing-time contrast sensitivity estimating means to estimate the contrast sensitivity during observing an image which has printed the image data by a printer, an overall gradation characteristic means to prepare the overall gradation characteristic of an input-output to be an objective from the contrast sensitivity during photographing and the contrast sensitivity during observing, and an edition means to edit by the user a relation among the contrast sensitivity during photographing, the contrast sensitivity during observing, and the overall gradation characteristic prepared by the means to prepare the overall gradation characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
