<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault in the control of an electric motor accurately in a control unit of the electric motor comprising a plurality of electronic control units (ECU). <P>SOLUTION: An upper ECU generates a torque command value T1 according to an output request to the electric motor (S100). A lower ECU calculates a torque command value T2 for correcting the original torque command value T1 according to the operation state of the electric motor (S210), and controls the electric motor according to a final torque command value Tf (S220) set by integrating the torque command values T1, T2 (S230). The upper ECU receives the torque command value T2 and the quantity of the state of the motor transmitted from the lower ECU, and a torque value result Tj (S120) obtained from the quantity of the state of the motor is compared with a final torque command value Tf (S130) obtained by reflecting the torque command value T2, thus executing fault detection in the control of the electric motor (S150-S170). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
