<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connection or partial disconnection in a double-layer communication network. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for at least partial disconnection in a double-layer communication network comprising a first communication network layer for establishing a communication channel to a terminal and a second communication network layer for establishing the connection of an application layer. The disclosed method includes the steps of judging that a connection related to the terminal is to be at least partially canceled in one of the first and the second communication network layers, and transferring the judgement from one communication network layer wherein that judgement is made, through an interface between the first and the second communication network layers to the other communication network layer. Therefore, each of the communication network layers is enabled to know that the connection is to be canceled, and to initiate any suitable means so as not to waste network capacity for a connection call that is not active any more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
